I wasnt sure if I should start a new thread for this...but since a few people have been asking and its getting to be OT in "Obsessions" I figured I'd start one here  today in school the window was open and i was sitting next to it...all of the sudden my papers started like flying all across the room and stuff...[from the wind] im not even joking they were everywhere haha...so my teacher goes "it seems courtney's papers are going Wicked crazy" haha i was hysterical!! so post away your wicked moments in here! |

Ooh, good idea! I was wondering what had happened to the Wicked Moments thread LOL.
Wicked moment du jour... actually two happened today. The first one was when I heard my mom talking to one of my relatives about someone and she was saying, "Yes, well, from the moment he was born..." and I like shouted, "HE WAS, WELL DIFFERENT!" and then proceeded to sing NOMTW.
The second moment was during gym... I don't know who it was but my friend and I overheard someone say the words, "at school" and we immediatly started singing "Dear Old Shiz" LOL.

its so funny now every time everyone says "at school", we are like "do do do do do do oh hallowed halls..."
we actually do that whenever we hear some thing that rhyms with school llam

My Wicked moment of the day? Probably when I was talking to my English teacher about how annoyed I was during "Defying Gravity" at the Tonys when Kristin clipped the cape onto Idina and it made the big snapping sound, and how I think it's cool that on Idina's last "Ahh!" in "Defying Gravity" she lifts her hand up when the ensemble comes in, almost like she's cueing them to sing. Then he told me he finally finished the book, and we had a good twenty-minute conversation about what we liked and didn't like about it.
That was actually the only good part of my day. *sighs* Thank the Unnamed Gods that Wicked is so universally loved and such a day-brightener!

yea we had a dress down day today at school (i have to wear a uniform ) and of course i was all decked out in pink and green (pink really DOES go good with green!), and so was my friend! so of course, i immediatly start singing "popular"...le sigh i need a new hobby but i like this one... i've got the uniform thing goin on too..but we had free dress for finals so i wore my new pink shirt, green and pink flips and had a green and pink purse. oh..and during one of my tests (dont worry..i finished first) i made a pink and green bracelet! hehe! but my REAL wicked moment was when i checked the mail, i had my pretty new Glinda wand charm from Samantha!! slc!! |

Well today I finally saw Mean Girls.
1) When they talked about no good deed I clapped and sang...I got looks
2) They said 'I couldn't be happier' so we started singing
3) there was a third...I don't remember it though...

haha i think so cuz a lot of peopl posted about it..I got the same exact wicked moments in MG!!  Well im taking a typing class at my new highschool right now to just get the credit over with..and since we are all new and freshman not everyone in the class knows each other..i only know the ppl from my middle school..and so today during our break my friend Rachel came up to me and said "LETTY!! Only 7 mre weeks until I see Wicked!!" and this girl from another school that I didnt knwo said "Wait..Wicked the show??" haha we had like a 2 hour conversation after that..I have a new best friend!! lol Also my friend Mckenzie brought her Wicked cd that I burned her to class today and since all the ppl from my school no the songs (theres like 5 of us in the class) we all started singing plus the girl form the other school so it was so fun! lol |

Today was the last day of school for me and my school went to a theme park and what not and my friend Sarah (aka Fae, Elphie, Fabala, Elphaba) and I (Galinda, Glinda, Glinny, Guylinda)--I just realized I said "Sarah and I"...I shall sing--[two minutes later] Okay, I am done now. So me and Sarah went off together and I had so many Glinda/Blonde moments we started counting. It was great. And then I almost bought a tiara and wand but the cash registar lady saw me wearing it and was like "Boys can't wear those!" and then i thought (insert thought bubble here) 'That is very sexist and mean...be gone with you, before someone drops a house on you!'
Oh and then we went on the ferris wheel and it looked like Cheno's bubble so I sang the beginning of NOMTW and then Sarah got annoyed and started singing Defying Gravity and tried to be louder than me, but no one can beat these pipes *pats throat lovingly*
I also bought pink and blue rock candy and sarah bought a green ring-pop and ... it started raining and Sarah freaked out and ran into one of the gift shops. She also brought her Elphie hat and wore it like, all day. And we like, put it in cool places and took pictures (i.e. in the middle of a puddle, on a large green bush, in a tree, etc etc)
Wow I wrote a lot...I hope I won't get in trouble!

Today in the shower I was listening to Wicked and I was getting dressed and ready during Popular so it was kind of funny. And then after that I acted out (in my bathroom mind you) (I was being Galinda) One Short Day through Defying Gravity. It was great. And then my mom walked in when I was belting "I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPYYYYYY" at the end of Defying Gravity and she looked at me, shook her head and left. I started laughing.

haha my friend made this green silly putty like stuff in chem...and she had it with her in spanish. anyway, so she added a little too much green food coloring, and the girl who sits in front of me was playing with it and her hands were completely greenified!!! so naturally, i thought of wicked, and i was like ahh ur greenified! n she got confused, so i filled her in on wickedness. not much of a moment, but hey it excited me

I was watching "Field of Dreams" and when one of the baseball players fades into the cornfield he says "I'm melting! I'm melting!" And then in the next scene someone mentioned the Wizard of Oz. That's so unexpected to have a Wicked moment with that movie!
