This was actually a few days ago and again today:
My French class is reading fairy tales by Perrault, and the one we did today was Bluebeard. Probably not one most have heard of. All the fairy tales have morals at the end, and this one had a certain word that made me think of Wicked. It said "...on sache le grimoire," which is a cognate of grimmerie, and the note in the text says it's a book that's difficult to understand and it's also a book of sorcery. Think "eleka nahmen nahmen ahtum ahtum..."

Well, now that I've actually seen the show (Dee's last day) and I bought earrings, the OBC poster, shirt, and a keychain- which is supposed to be for my friend, but I keep forgetting to give it to her... anyway- every day is a Wicked moment. ;D

Okay i've got a pretty good one in my opinion. it was yesterday though oh well i got back so late last night that i couldn't post it. last night i went to the mondovi performing arts center on the university campus in my town to see acclaimed opera singer Renee Fleming. she was amazing but not as amazing as during her third encore when she came out she said, "What do you think Glinda the Good Witch?" it is true her dress did indeed look like a Glinda the Good Witch dress but by that time I generally wasn't paying attention because i was so excited that I was practically jumping up and down in my seat. She was talking about how the bad weather was following her all the way through her tour and how she wanted to sing a song because of that so she sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" i was eccstatic anyways that's my wicked moment of the day. i loved every moment of it because it reminded me so much of wicked. I walked into the computer lab this morning, only to see the words "If someone needs a makeover, I simply HAVE to take over" written on the dry-erase board. I also had an Avenue Q moment yesterday when I played "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist" for my Multicultural Day seminar group

i do have individual days that feel more wicked than others, like the time i tossed my lunch tray while trying to show my friends how to toss-toss their hair the Galinda way ;D, but lately i've been actually, like, living out the play. it's wierd! my best guy friend (also a wicked fan) is dating this girl who i unadulturatingly loathe b/c she is gorgeous (and semi-shallow). now i feel totally like a "Not that girl" Elphaba to my friend Fiyero and his Galinda with a ga. It totally sucks, but the irony is actually kinda funny. I think if i explain to him in wicked terms, he might understand, then he'll dump little miss "popular"

I was doing a practice test for my citywide, and there in a passage it said 'No Good Deed Goes Unpunished', Oh, I have two bracelets, and I didn't relize it but one is pink and one is green and i said 'Ohh, pink goes good with green!'

Heh, my parents were doing their speech for my sister at her Bat Mitzvah yesterday morning, and they started out saying how she dances through life. It made me happy, but my other younger sister had to forcibly keep me from breaking out into song.

My mom bought some "mint chocolate chip" ice cream, but when I opened it, I found that it wasn't green.. but white! I thought to myself, "Hmm...it's been 'de-greenified.' "

I passed a store and there was a big sign out front that said "Good News" so I started to sing the opening number...

This is a notable one: When my sister asked my mom and I for help with her English homework, the three of us got into a discussion about whether or not you can start a sentence with because. "But you can't!" my sister insisted. So I launched into a lecture about why you can. "It's like this: if you use a sentence like 'Because Galinda is a blond,' that's incorrect because it's a dependent clause and can't stand on its own. But if you say 'Because Galinda is a blond, Elphaba loathes her,' or 'Because Elphaba is green, Galinda loathes her,' it's different. You can use those sentences because they pair a dependent clause with an independent clause." If my sister had thought of it, she might have said something like: "Oh. I thought you could use those sentences because they have to do with Wicked. Oh well." I have got to listen to something else besides "What Is This Feeling?" before I go completely insane.

Well this is an everyday thing with me, but am I the only one who times things by Wicked songs? If I'm bored or need to do something for a certain amount of time, I sing certain songs from Wicked that I know are that long to make the time pass by faster.

I did that at softball practice today with the Last Five Years and tick, tick...BOOM!'s first half. I'd do Wicked, but I'd be way too distracted...

Heh, I do that too. Usually with Wicked, but sometimes with Rent or other musicals...
