Get a credit card, Cate! Put the food on there. See, it's okay then because eating well is crucial and when you beg money off the parentals to pay the bill you can say its cuz you had to eat.

Maybe I'll get one, but I'll see if the bookstores have it in March before I order, I also want to get the hardback copy of the book, I only have a bad condition paperback a friend gave me.

It's just what i've been waiting for, the best of the book and the musical! -Colleen I couldn't agree more! I love the book, and the musical but the truth of the matter is that they are two very different entities. Granted, it's interesting to read the book and go, "So that's where Defying Gravity goes," but I am looking forward to this accompanying version. There have been far too many times when I sat there and went, but so and so isn't like that in the musical! (I read the book after I saw the show) This is going to be great considering that the one reason that I loved the show so much was because of the story it told. I have a feeling I'm going to be rereading this book for a while... Sa

That's what i was saying....It says musical tie in, and I know its got more pages, but without a better description from AMAZON, who's to say it's not just the same old book with a foreward by Maguire/Schwartz et all about the musical?

Girls...I'm hyper and cracked and I'd like to believe that Gregory Maguire rewrote the book to fit with the musical...cause this was the beginning of a long day of spending for me. So let's view this as the fate shall we...
1. It is the same book with a different cover 2. My will and grace dvd's don't work 3. my phantom tickets suck 4. my ab slider will get broken in the mail...
all this will in turn depress me to no end, and then I'll cry and then you'll all be sad cause I'm crying and we won't be happy any more...
Sa... cracked out of my mind!

I'm kinda at the point where I don't care if it's the same book. As long as it has something related to the musical, ( forward, "the making of" , pictures, etc ) I will be happy. If not, take the book to the stage door, get someone to sign it, then sell it on e-bay.
