I can't wait until the Tonys! And it makes sense to do DG, showing off Idina's talent and the show's biggest number. Wow, will that be a great night, or what? The performances are my favorite part of the Tonys.

Exactly Elphie. Like I've said, Dee needs to be shown off more. And "DG" is one of the best songs in the show. It's the best and most logical choice. Jmo.

DG is the logical choice because it shows why Wicked (and Idina) are so amazing! DG shows why Wicked should win best musical, right? That song will totally blow the audience away when Idina belts. Yes! I'm so excited about getting to see that performed for the Tony's instead of OSD!

I still am puzzled as to why they chose DG, though, as it really is more Idina's song, isn't it? Even though it is the show-stopper. I was just going to post something about that! I mean they are both up for Best Actress, but Idina is showing off her talent more than Cheno is..I mean i love DG, but its more about Dee then Cheno and I think they should be equal n stuff..If that last thing made sense..

But the thing is EVERYONE knows Cheno. And EVERYONE knows what she can do. Well in the Broadway world at least. Many know what Dee can do. But not EVERYONE. And not like Cheno. And Cheno's got her Tony. It's Dee's turn now. She deserves it. I'm hoping Dee will soon "match them in renown." Them being all those big-named Broadway stars. He he he.

HAPPY ONE WEEK UNTIL THE TONYS!!!!!
I'm curious, is anyone having a Tony party? It sucks because they're on a Sunday (makes sense for Broadway actors since they have Mondays off), because I have school the next day, but I'm trying to convince my parents to let me have a few friends over. Does anyone have big plans for it next week?

I absolutely can't wait!! I've never watched the Tonys before [yeah...long story...never liked musicals/plays enough to watch it...until now!!] and I will absolutely die during DG... I don't know. I'm so torn as to whoo should win!! Both have astounding voices...but I am partial to Idina...she gave me goosebumps that led to tears...not many can do that to me. ...but it's seriously unfair to make people choose. They should get a joint nom. But that's been established in the past pages. Ahem...back onto topic... I think I might swankify my room just for the Tonys! It's [what a coincedence!!] green (and a Wicked green also!! )... llam. I wish I could party with you guys or people just as in love with Wicked as I...that would be awesome. Maybe we could all do it in spirit lol.

As dorky as it sounds, since 2000, I hold a Tony party. Anyone that wants to go just comes up and asks me and I'll write them down. It's pretty simple. There's food and drinks and such. And it goes to the end. And if you don't have a ride, you can get one from someone else, or my parents or brother will drive you. Some people actually stay the night. It works out well. We discuss the performances, the winners (who SHOULD have one), and of course the outfits! And this year everyone is a "Wicked" fan and 90% of us are rooting for Dee. I can't wait!

I advertised to like everyone I know that I was having a Tony party this year but then my mom found out and put the kibosh on that idea right quick. No parties in the house. Heaven forbid we'd show our support of Mon's favourite actresses by letting her have a party :S Boourns. But it's okay cuz Jaime and I are having our own little party and going to have BOOZE! Though I have to drive home and work at ten the next morning so I won't be drinking... but I don't need to be impaired to enjoy Defying Gravity!!!!!!

Might have a small suaree. The issue for me is a pending rehearsal that night for my current show, "Annie Get Your Gun".... I'm seriously thinking of skipping that night. Who in their right mind holds rehearsal on TONY AWARDS night?!

Who in their right mind holds rehearsal on TONY AWARDS night?! I must agree, that is really silly. You would think that the director would expect his cast to be at least somewhat interested in the Tonys. You know, as actors...Not to be a bad influence, but *cough*skip it!*cough* ;D

If we HAVE to get together for rehearsal, this was my thought- we start rehearsal at 7. We'll work out butts off for that first hour and then turn rehearsal into a Tony party... ya know, drag in a television... the works. And that way I can share the Wicked love with EVERYONE in the cast.

My good friend Kate (she saw the show over Xmas break with Taye) is holding a Tony Party. The fun part? She's each assigning us shows and we have to think of a food that would work for each one. Example: She's making shiz-kabobs. And Pete-zah with a Z (the Boy from Oz). And we're all gonna dress up and paint one of our hands green and she's bringing her Wicked memorabilia into the room in her house with the TV. Everyone who's coming is a huge Wicked fan, so it should be a blast and a half. We're also going to have like little contests, like whoever picks the most right gets something. Nothing beats watching the Tonys while eating Broadway themed food, with a green hand, with a bunch of fellow IdinaFans and DramaDorks. Aaah. I'm crazily excited.
