Any ideas for what to sing for auditions for an A Cappella choir. We have to learn a song, but we also have to have some material ready. It's really competetive, like 20 out of 300 make it, so I want a really good song...and since it's a cappella, it has to sound good without accompaniment.

Well think about what stlyes they are looking for, are they looking for people in a specific range? Also you want a song that, while yes it has to sound good without accompaniment, you want a song where the accompaniment is really second thought and the song doesn't rely on that at all.
I've been trying to get into high school way too hard...
