In a commercial for the movie "New York Minute" (gotta love those Olsen twins, llam), they walk into a Barbershop-the-movie-esque type haircutters place and they go "Toto, we are so not in Kansas anymore!"

On "Unwrapped" on the Food Network the host, Marc Summers, was listing the animal shapes in an animal cracker treat and he said "cows, pigs, camels, elephants, and lions, oh my!" Then he reminded me of Elphie helping the Animals by saying "I'm going to be a good samaritan by opening this bag and liberating the animals into this bowl."

Last night on "Two Guys and a Girl" (I wish that show was still on) there was a funny reference: Pete: *Knocks on Irene's door* Irene: *Answers the door with a sandpaper saw thingy with pigtails in her hair* Peter: Hi, Dorothy, building a tornado shelter? I was LLAM. It was so funny. I miss that show.

I was watching 8 Simple Rules (sorry I don't know the characters very well, I just happened to turn this episode on) and the Grandpa was being taken out by his grandson - not Rory, David Spade's character - to a bar to cheer him up after he got a letter saying his wife was seeing someone else. The Grandfather was complaining and moping and David Spade's character was like "You're like the tree from The Wizard of Oz. 'Oh, oh, my apples aren't rotten!'"

I was watching Full House and there was an episode where Stephanie was going to see the Wizard of Oz for the first time and the cable went out so Joey performed the highlights for her.

I was just coming to post about that! It was really great...his Wicked Witch was inspired! yes, especially when he added "butter" after saying "I'm melting!" like the Parkay commercial. Only it wasn't a sad moment that she melted.

Another one from Full House! DJ has to babysit Stephanie and Michelle, and Stephanie tells Danny that DJ is only an angel around him. Away from him it's "I'll get you my pretty!" She says it like in WoO, almost cackling

Llam, there are a lot of WoO references on Full House! I was watching the other day, and Stephanie's getting her cavity filled. So Joey sings "King of the Forest" to her, in order to give her courage or something.

Yet again, I found one on 'Full House.' It was the episode where Stephanie was convincing Jessie to let her watch a scary movie, and to further extend her plight she goes, "I saw the Wizard of Oz and wasn't scared of the Wicked Witch of the West!" Then she proceeds to make some creepy little face, claw the air with her hands and sings that song that plays every time you see Elphaba in Wizard of Oz. It was cute. -gyps

On Saturday night MadTV did a spoof. I couldn't hear what was being said (stupid TV), but it looked hysterical. Dorothy started beating up Glinda.

Dorothy got mad at Glinda for not telling her about the clicking her heels together from the very beginning, and ended with the Tin Man being gay.
