I don't think he would appreciate the gesture very much...It is a bit cruel after all...though I have to admit, I would definitely pay to see that!

If Norbert put on Kristin's dress, I don't think she'd be able to wear it at all after that. ^.^ -gyps

I saw Wicked over the Thanksgiving break and this was at the time when all the Broadway plays were collecting money for Broadway Cares for Kids, or something like that. The cast got a standing ovation during their bows, but since they had to announce the money collecting thing, they waited until people sat down. The funny thing is when Idina was making her little speech. She couldn't say her script right and so she had to start over again. She also swore a little bit. It's funny especially b/c she could say the spell words but she couldn't say normal English words! It's not the funniest of bloopers, but anytime someone messes up lines, it's funny.

You should listen to some of the candids that Erin has on her yahoo sight for Idina. You want some bloopers and accidental swearing, that's the place to go! Nothing from the show though...sigh.

I got this out of the Baum Bugle(The Official Oz Club Magazine), during one performance after Elphaba said "Can you believe there is a world where Animals are kept in cages" or something like that, a cellphone in the crowd went off & Fiyero said "I think people w/ cellphones should be kept in cages." I also read that one time there was a bubble malfunction & it spewed the bubble liquid all over Kristin. Also it is funny to hear that Kristin hit herself in the head w/ the wand, Billie Burke did the same thing & it is visible in the MGM movie. Someone in one of my Oz groups said that he saw the show in which Kristin twirled her wand & dropped it, breaking part of the star off. During the Macy Thanksgiving Parade, they did a great job lip-syncing until the end, when Kristin blew it by not mouthing a word. I have this on tape. OK, i'm done.

Last night when i saw the show, I don't know what happened, but Kristin and Idina were CRACKING UP at the end of "One Short Day"...then when Joel came out they were just trying to keep a straight face and he knew it, so he spent half the scene, through "A Sentimental Man" trying to make them laugh.

My favorite bloopers, that I witnessed, were Glinda's flower getting caught in her hair (which happens frequently from what I gather)
I loved it when Midina's skull cap fell off one day and Kristin picked it up and threw it at her during "What Is This Feeling?"

Aww, that sounds so cute. I want good bloopers!
But bloopers aside, Kristin and Idina during WITF (even though the never threw anything) are so incredibly hilarious, being all catty and insulting eachother in subtle little ways that you'd notice if you weren't just sitting in awe going "Wow, green..."
I want a good blooper! What the shiz is up with spot-on performances every time I go? But this makes me want to take a vote: Who heard Idina on the speakers just before the show started, warming up her wonderful voice? I heard it twice, people from school heard it, anyone else? -gyps

When you sit in the lottery seats, you can hear them all screwing around and laughing and tlaking behind the curtain. You can hear Kristin doing last minute warm ups before and while she's ascending into the flies.

Somebodys probably already posted all of these but 1) Joel Grey forgot his lines and just like made weird noises with his lips and the audience laughed 2) Taye threw the broom to Idina, but he completly missed her. As soon as it fell the entire audience and everybody on stage exploded with laughter. After laughing for a minute Taye and Idina just decided to do it again, Idina made a take two sign. Then they ran it again 3) Later in that scene Idina randomally starts laughing and says I'm sorry. then kristin throws her her hat and she runs off stage 4) In What is this Feeling Kristin just lost it and started laughing for some odd reason...Idina was the only one signing in the end

I got one from last night. During "Popular". KRISTIN: Ballgown! Is this thing on? ::bangs wand and wand breaks:: Kristin ran off stage to put it away so she wouldn't have to throw it and break it more and Idina was laughing when she said "Do you want me to try?" and Kristin replied from halfway off stage "Wear the frock it's pretty!"

*insanely jealous you saw the show last night*
That is too cute though, I wish they'd done at least ONE adlib or something when I went. *sigh* I'm counting on the next time!

Last time I was in NY, I saw the show several times, and saw several really funny bloopers. The first was at the very beginning, when the bubble lets Kristin off to sing, and then its supposed to rise up to the top of the stage. But it barely moved, and then it stopped. So Kristin is standing in front singing, and she has no idea, so she turns around to walk towards the middle of the stage and she runs into the bubble. So she cracks up, of course, and then there are a few seconds pause (while she waits for it to move, but it doesn't), so she starts whacking at the bubble with her wand. It was sooo funny. The other ad-lib I saw was with Laura Bell Bundy (Kristin's standby). She was doing "Popular" and showing Elfie what shoes to wear, and how to fix her hair ( and she was like "I'm going to teach you how to flip your hair" and then she was like "Well, you can flip it to the front, or to the side, or all around like this" and for the last part, she like shakes her head like crazy and ends up with hair all in her face and her hair a complete mess. So she says "Well, actually, you really don't wanna try it that way. You get hair in your mouth and its really embarassing." Very clever ad-lib for someone who's not in the show every night. Anyway, the ad-libs definitely made it more fun!

Laura Bell Bundy is the standby, Melissa Bell Chait is the understudy. I can understand where the confusion comes from
