I'm so proud of myself! I heart this board in large proportions, but up until this point I've had nothing to contribute. But look at me go now!
I forgot about this one.
When I saw the show back in February (the 4th), there was a blooper in "No One Mourns the Wicked." Ya know the part where they're sort of telling about when Elphaba was born? And they have the mother and the father and stuff? The line "But know that you're here in my heart while I'm out of your sight.." was screwed up by the father. I think. I could've SWORN he said
"But know that I'm here in your heart while I'm out of your sight.."
I think my friend next to me caught it, but no one else remembered when I brought it up later.
My first real post! Woo-ha!

Cute blooper from the Kristin Chenoweth Yahoo Group:
"You'd think on you're seventh viewing of a show, you'd know the whole game, down pat...
The cast finishes "Dancing Through Life", and the beds come on for "Popular". Except Galinda's bed only comes on halfway, and backwards. (with the headboard facing the audience, and the shoes in front of it). The girls both hesitate, and then Kristin goes to sit on Elphaba's bed. Idina quickly goes, "What happened to your bed?" I thought Kristin was going to roll over laughing. "I don't know," she said. Then she proceeds to tiptoe/dance en pointe over to where her bed is, and lie down. By this time, her bed is now moving into place, and Kristin is lying on the bed, on her stomach, swimming the breaststroke as it moves.
"What did you, get mad at me?" Idina responds. Suddenly, her bed starts to move, to which she quickly screams and stops it. LOTS of giggles on and off stage.
Very hard to describe, but Ms. Chenoweth and Ms. Menzel pulled a huge coup tonight, and made the audience fall in love very quickly."
I hope that when I go to see it, something like that happens. Very funny ;D

Well, given the track record... if something's going to go wrong... it's gonna be during "Popular"... ;D

yea, the best bloopers usually happen during popular- probably cuz its kristin and idina, and their hysterical to being with and so if any thing happends they jsut ham it up. and also cuz kristin always forgets what shes doing or decides shes bored with it, so she cahnges everyint.

Well Kristin even says (with a look on her face that makes it look like she does it herself) that she's the kind of performer who has a different show each day. I think Popular is her time to have fun and improv a little, so if bloopers come, great, just another time to improvise!

I would love to watch Popular a few nights in a row, just to see how she makes it her own each night. I think its awesome how she is such a great improv gal, so is Idina too! -Colleen

The last 3 times I've seen it, she hasn't taken Elphie's hat off, she just touches it, in a friendly gesture of "Aw, you're still wearing that fool thing...how sweet"....Glinda never takes it off....its more of a sweet bonding moment between her and Elphie...so what you're interpretting as a blooper might have been a scripted moment.

ohh okk..llam the only reason why i thought it was a blooper was because she touched it, then pulled her hand down REALLY fast, and then it look like they kinda laughed..but i can see what you mean now..your probably right just i didnt remember her doing it last time so i thought it was one..but it all makes sense to me now

Those girls (Glinda and Elphie) are fabulous friends, even in the most trying times.
But they also know how to have fun! I can't wait to hear about more "bloopers"!

Isn't it great how no one's mentioned a Boq blooper? I'm just so smart and together all the time, I never mess up. See, Miss Galinda?
