From last night: After "let the green girl go", Miss Kristin completely falls on her butt. Norber walks over and asks if she's okay. Much hilarity. He kind of helps her up, to which she responds, "There's a slick spot over there." I missed a bunch of this, because I'm dying of laughter at this point. He jumps OVER the slick spot, to help her more. "Fiyero, I got it!", so sayeth Kristin. Idina's in the corner of the stage doubled over laughing. Then Kristin folds into herself and bows, looking straight at Aly and I. Giggling all the while, everyone on stage is trying to figure out WHERE to start this scene over, but poor Norbert is just losing it. Finally, Kristin takes charge and stars with the "Fiyero, no." omg thats so funny!! i wish i could see a blooper in action! i would like laugh so hard..and omg this is my 100th post..sry for being OT for a sec |

Yay, I have one to add.
During the confrontation scene, I look for Norbert to swing on, and I can't find him (usually you can see him prepping). I figured he must be further back or something. Then, he comes RUNNING on, as if someone pushed him from backstage, and says, "Let the green girl go."
Still no idea what happened to the rope.

lol... Oh, man. Poor Norbert! Hmmm. Either he was late for his entrance or maybe the rope got hung up on one of those set pieces and he couldn't reach it. (And now I'm laughing at the mental image of Norbert jumping up and down backstage as his cue is coming up and trying to unstag the rope.. ;D)

My friend saw the show last Saturday & Cheno's bed failed to come on the stage before 'Popular', yet again. She did the whole backstroke thing, the whole thing about the wand ("first the bed, now this!") the usual. And the shoes crept on waaay after the bed and she was like "I was wondering when they were going to join us." I find it funny.  |

Someone's REALLY gotta fix that set. Cheno and Idina are getting way too proficient with covering for "scenery malfunctions". It's still priceless, though! ;D

Hehe...there's this sadistic little part of me that thinks that if I were a techie I would mess up the sets purposely just to see what they would do...Okay, okay, so of course I wouldn't....but it's still fun to think about...

I think he does that when she touches him and says "That's Fiyero Tigular..." etc, and Boq kinda crumbles and sputters, "You're touching me" Or I could be wrong and he had a Clutz!Moment  You're right. |

Yeah, when I was there Norbert didn't use the rope... I was so disappointed! I wanted to ask him at the stage door exactly what happened but he didn't come out. He just kind of leapt on stage and said "Let the green girl go". Definitely not the same cool effect as when he swings in!
I was so holding my breath during Popular, because that seems to be the time when everything goes wrong. Idina looked like she wanted to crack up... but she totally stayed in character. I was hoping to see some funny bloopers but I guess because it was Tonys week they wanted everything to be perfect.

Something I forgot to add about the 'Popular' blooper: When Kristin's bed wasn't there when the lights came up Idina was like "Where's your bed?" and Cheno said, "I don't know" and then started making up a song "I waant my beeeed, I want my beeed, a million dollar set and I don't have a bed!" Hehehe I thought that was great. |

I want to see a "bed" blooper so badly...llam...except now that its happened numerous times, i wonder if Idina and Kristin still think its so funny..also Kristin really said "a 1000 dollar set and I dont have my bed?" hahahahah |
