Jessica Simpson doesn't have the opera range Glinda requires I don't think. But if the Universal monkies cast this, they'll cast her as Elphaba so they can release "As Long As You're Mine" as a hot 100 single.  |

Jessica Simpson and the like have NO place in a Wicked movie, playing characters created by those with real talent. So, not to condone your murderous rampage, buuutt.... ;D |

Oh Sweet Ozness...Jessica Simpson? That would just be too weird...I dont know if it would be weirder for her to play Glinda or weirder for her to play Elphaba.. I dont think she fits either roles..I mean she doesn't have the range Kristin has [at least not that I know of] and she doesn't fit the size/appearance I thought Glinda is supposed to be..shes not really a very small, very petite, little-looking, bubbly girl [Like Kristin] that I feel like Glinda really should be...of course she is ditzy so I guess her personality somewhat fits but I just dont think she fits the role of Glinda...and there is NO way her voice compares with Idina's either so I think shes out for that role too! My personal opinion is that she does not have what it takes, I hope she will prove me wrong, I doubt she will [llam sry I couldnt resist] Ugh..if anyone decides to make Wicked a movie with singing in it, they better use Idina and Kristin instead of some famous popstar or it will just RUIN the whole show..llam..I mean I dont think I would mind Nick Lachey playing Fiyero though..of course I LOVE Norbert but Nick is just so GORGEOUS and I love his voice  ahh sorry for my ramblings |

Nick Lachey is hot, but his voice is... well I personally don't like it very much. But whatever, maybe he could lip sync to Norbert singing? Llam.

I don't know if someone already said this, but I think Ewan McGregor would make a good Fiyero.
I'm drawing a blank on a Hollywood actress here for Glinda. I think they'd have to either get a Broadway vocally trained actress to play that character or make Glinda's role a little less demanding vocally.
