Don't all dads think they're funny? Llam. I know mine does sometimes. Anyway, I was looking at my college's website and discovered that on University Day, the theatre-in-the-round is performing The Wizard of Oz!!!! I'll have to go check that out. I've been wanting to see a play version to see if my seeing Wicked has an effect on my views of the witches. I'm soooo excited!!

Today I found a free trial version of a midi editing program, and I spent most of the day copying "The Wizard and I" from the piano/vocal music book into the program. It's not done, but it sounds pretty!

At church on Sunday, this guy was talking and I wasn't really paying attention. All I heard was "skjdfhklashfk Changed for the better". I looked at my little sister and at the same time we both mouthed the lyrics to FG. It was amazing. Church isn't all that dull!! llam

Today I saw "A Cinderella Story" with my friend, who doesn't really know much about Broadway, and they said the word "wicked" a million times and I wanted to burst out in song but it would look soo weird lol, so I held back.

Last night was obon and I had to work in the snow cone booth for 3 hours, and we all have to wear hats so I wore my Wicked one. There was this couple who recognized it because their daughter went to see the show and couldn't stop raving about it ( ) and then this guy who bought at the snow cone booth: Guy: Do I give the money to you? Me: Yes. Guy: Are you wicked? Me: .... Yes. It was kind of odd.

Oh yeah, I forgot one. The guy who was giving out the communion waffer deals looked like Joel from the end of the line. I was like "Oh my God (...i said that in church... ) if Joel Gray gave me a communion waffer deal that would make my day!!" And Courtney, I know what you mean, about suicidal voices and whatnot.

Today in the shower I was listening to Wicked and I was getting dressed and ready during Popular so it was kind of funny. And then after that I acted out (in my bathroom mind you) (I was being Galinda) One Short Day through Defying Gravity. It was great. And then my mom walked in when I was belting "I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPYYYYYY" at the end of Defying Gravity and she looked at me, shook her head and left. I started laughing. Lol. me and 2 of my friends were singing along and picking parts to wicked and we were there singing like super loud and it was really late and my brother walks in and he just stares at us like we were crazy then walked away. It was so funny. and then my other friend called me on my cel and we were all like stop talking were trying to sing and she was on speakerphone but we just ignored her while we sang and she was like screaming into the phone ;D It was great....good time....

Today at camp we were playing this improv game and we had to get into a group of 5...pick a location, people at the location and create like a 3 minutes story but we werent allowed to talk llam..we had to just create sound effects and act out a story..
so of course what location do i make my group do? yes..the Gershwin..haha..and what people were our scene? Yes, the characters from Wicked...so we acted out like 3 seconds from a few different scenes..and the second my group went on, everyone knew it was Wicked just because I was in the group..and when we were done they were like "how did we guess you were going to do that? youre so predictable" haha it was fun

I had a creepy, semi-wicked moment yesterday.
I went for a walk to the store, wearing my 'Defy Gravity' shirt. When I was walking back home to my apartment, a guy whizzed past me on his bike. He came very close to hitting me, and turned around to look at me once he was passed. He stopped his bike a little ways up the sidewalk and just waited. I felt like darting across the street to avoid him, but it was a rather wide, busy street.
So he starts talking to me, and you can just feel the bad vibes. He goes 'What does it say on your shirt? Defy Gravity?' So I say 'Yeah.' He says 'What does that mean?'
So I try to explain in as few words as possible, but unfortunately I mention that it's from 'Wicked'.
"Wicked, eh?" He says, winking at me, putting as much undertone into the word 'Wicked' as possible. I wanted to scream "Creepy!" and run home. He then proceeded to ask me to go for a drink with him. This guy was at least 30, which makes him at least 10 years older than me. It was also about 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I politely declined and then hurried back to my apartment.
And that was my creepy incident involving my 'Wicked' shirt.
