I distribute newspapers at a rather famous upstate NY race track, (glamorous job, I know ) and yesterday was opening day. Anyway, the paper I work for gave us these green t-shirts to wear with their logo on the back. I quite enjoyed the Wicked connection.... and then enjoyed it even moreso when I saw the carriers for a rival newspaper wearing pink shirts. It was Elphaba vs. Glinda for the heavyweight newspaper distribution title of the world! Or... something. ;D

My moment is: Yesterday, my mom read on Cheno's forums that Kohls had Wicked pjs. So of course, we go to Kohls ASAP. It turns out they have a whole line of Wizard of Oz pjs! And there not movie themed, they have funny sayings and stuff. Here, I'll describe them for y'all.
1st Set: Black and White Longsleeve Baseball T-shirt, (black sleeves) on it was a cartoon of a house with a cat in the window (don't know why) and of course, Nessa's legs stickin out from under it. Caption: "There's No Place Like HOme." the pants were black and had outlines of a house and underneath it said "Theres no Place like Home"
2nd Set: The Shirt was a pink baseball tee with red sleeve's and had a picture of the Ruby Slippers, caption: "Bling Bling!" the pants had the same picture, but said "No place Like Home"
3rd Set: White Baseball Tee with blue sleeves (I think) On it was a picture of Dorothy and it said something like "I don't have a very good choice of men" or something of that sort, and off to the side there was a picture of the Scarecrow,Lion, and Tin Man and under the Scarecrow it said "Brain Dead" under the Tin Man it said "Heartless" and under the Lion it said "Gutless" the pants had the pictures of the three "men" on them.
4th set (and the one I bought) the shirt was a grey baseball t-shirt (surprise!) with blue sleeves, on it was a picture and half of it was Glinda, and the other half of it was Elphie under Glinda it said "Good Witch" and under Elphie it said "Bad Witch" and then under that it said "Hey, I'm flexible!" the pants were blue with pictures of Elphie and Glinda.
A quick note: the pictures were drawings, not pictures from the actual movie.

Randomly I was watching In A Fix and someone said something like "wow, pink and green really do go together!" Everyone's getting the pink and green craze!

Yesterday was my Wicked filled day. I didn't post on this thread because I have at least two Wicked moments a day, but yesterday...
I decided to wear my "Popular" shirt and I was wearign my glinda necklace, and my eyes were done in pink and green. (It sounds weird for eyes, but I got sooo many compliments on my eyes.) I sang popular all day. Then mom came to pick me up to run to the car dealership and we get there, the guy come out and says "I of course don't havea pink car, but I havea cute little green one." I just smiled so big at my mom and we both laughed. While I'm checking out the car, mom explains the whole thing about pink and green.
Then we're at my work for dinner and that Dell commercial comes on and I scream. Then all of the sudden my mom goes "Loathing...unadulterated loathing." So I break out into WITF.
Then I get home and I got my bubble blowing machine working again. I had to buy new bubbles. I did the Wicked obsessed thing and when the first bubbles started coming out I said "Look it's Glinda!" Mom and grams laughed, and to top it off while we were all laughing JJ started barking at the bubbles and I said "Damn it Dodo, shut up, Elphie let you and that little brat go." Mom was laughing so hard, and grams looked confused. I had to explain that it was in reference to a line in the show. Then I did the smacking away of the bubbles that Kristin did at the beginning of the show when the big bubbles moved and the tiny bubbles coming out got in her way. Mom and I were laughing so hard. It was fun.
There you go. Not really big, but they made me smile.

I had a few moments when I was at Target with my mom today. - We were getting groceries and I picked up a cool looking green bottle of lime juice and danced around my mom singing "Have another drink, my dark eyed beauty...". - We were in the cleaning supplies aisle and I had been in the CD section and then went and found my mom and she was looking at toilet brushes and i grabbed a silver broom and came down the aisle waving and then when i reached my mom i went "It's good to see me, isn't it?!" - I was hanging out in the school supplies section ( ) with my friend and we both grabbed a notebook and a pen and sang the begining of WITF for fun. Scared a few kids and elderly women, but it was fun.

My brother confessed to me that he wants a dog for his birthday...and we already have a puppy and im allergic to some dogs and i really dont want another one...llam..so i was like no we're not getting another one...and hes like YES WE ARE! and i was fighting with him about it haha...so then i said "well we're only getting another dog if you name it Elphie, Elphaba, Glinda, Fiyero, Idina, Cheno, Boq, Nessa, or Maddie [kristins puppy] and he of course said "NO WAY! Do u want me to be walking in the street calling out Elphaba come back here! thats stupid" So I said "fine then we're not getting one" and hes like "ugh...well im not using any of the names you listed but i guess if you want we could name it taye.." it was sort of funny..i agreed to taye then later he was watching the mets game at a family friends house and I said "OMG thats my friend in the bleachers!" and hes like "OMG Idina Menzel?" haha kind of stupid..but i figured id post anyway

I was looking through my pictures from show I've been in and I came across one that made me laugh so hard. Okay, background story: When I was in ALICE IN WONDERLAND the other kids and I started a thing called "Green Room Dinner Theatre" and we would choose a show and then rehearse it in between shows or when we were off stage and then we would perform it for the rest of the cast on a day when we had two hours between two shows. So, first, we did "Grant and Quinn in Blunderland" and it was parody of Alice in Wonderland that was based around myself and the only other boy in the show, Quinn, who find themselves in a magical place called Blunderland. Anywho, after that we did "The Wizard of Oz" and I played Glinda and The Wizard. Okay, that that is out of the way, I can tell you my Wicked moment. I found a pic of me as Glinda! Hahahhaha! I laughed sooooo hard. And so, for all the board to see....*drum roll* GRANT AS GLINDA!!: The picture sucks, but i think you get the general idea. haha

I went to the DCI (Drum Corps International) championships this past week and on the last night they showed a video montage of past championships. One group did the Wizard of Oz! Hehe, it was cute. They had a piece of cardboard with a house on it (and it said "house" that landed on the witch. The colorguard were dressed like Dorothy and the corps was playing "Ding Dong the Witch is Dead". That was more of a WoO moment, but my sister and I thought of Wicked when we saw it.

My family and I were at a restaurant and there was a car in the parking lot whose license plate said "Wiz", which made me think of "Wiz-o-mania."
We were at the airport today and someone in the security line had on a school play shirt (I believe) that was of The Wizard of Oz. I thought it interesting that it had a house with shoes sticking out from under it and a broom right next to the feet. Seems like WoO is about the "evil" witches...
