It's true Kristin's got a great range...I don't know. I'm bias. I think Idina brings more to the show, not saying that Kristin brings nothing, but that it's more about Idina playing Elphie, and Elphie's struggles and changes as the show progresses.
But I'm happy I don't have to decide...I'd feel guilty for whichever one i didn't pick...'cause Cheno's adorable, and I'd feel like I was being mean to her, but I LOVE Idina...AAAH!!!

well there's always the off-chance of a tie! lol...now wouldn't that be wonderful  I was just arguing this with my friend last Friday after I saw Wicked again...Kristin totally carries the show in the humor department, but the show really centers around Idina's character, and when Idina sings, my hair stands on end. Don't get me wrong though...I'm constantly amazed to hear Kristin's range. It's such a tough call, but I probably would want to see Idina win most of all...plus, Kristin already has one. LOL! But I'd be happy to see anyone from Wicked get the Tony!  Rachel |

that must be soo hard to be an actress in a show up for the same award as your costar..whats going to happen if 1 of them wins and the other doesnt?? thats really sad!! lol i think they should both win
But truly they cant so i'd have to say i think Idina should win. She really adds that little extra spark to the show and since Kristin won a Tony already, I think its Idinas turn! ;D

After my rumor and speculation... inuendo... outuendo... I have determined that I would vote Idina to win best actress....
Having seen the show 14 times, I really feel Idina is strong and continues to grow in the role.
I think Chenoweth has already peaked as Glinda... while Idina's still reaching new strides!

Having seen the show as many times as I have recently, I have to disagree with your comment about Kristin peaking. She just keeps getting better. I still think Idina should get the Tony, though |

Absolutely phenomenal and my Broadway idol. For the last parts of the Wizard and I and Defying Gravity alone she should win the Tony. She is just awesome... (could I be slightly biased?) |
