Is anyone in a show? Musical or otherwise? Post it here--and your part!

Hahaha, yessss I am in a show. You already know that, so I'll just entertain everyone else.
I play a wardrobe lady/prostitute (lady of the evening, to be polite) in the not-so-Wonderful show called 'My Favorite Year.' I might also recieve another part that Cib was talking to one of the stage managers about giving to people in the ensemble that show up all the time and are devoted and what not.
But seeing how Cib really hates me, I highly doubt it. Oh well, it's fun being in the show all the same, even if only because it's fun to come *close* to belting (with the whole rest of the show: "could somebody shoot me here and now!") and getting to say "ok, i have to go sell myself, be back later." -gyps

Well, my college will be putting on "The Threepenny Opera" in April... we've just started rehearsals now, but I'm playing the part of Lucy Brown. Kinda small part and she doesn't show up until halfway through the second act, but I do have a song and a duet. So I guess it's not that bad...

I'm in Calamity Jane. I'm just in the ensemble on this one.
Just out of curiousity, how many plays and musicals has everyone done?

Me: 5 musicals, but I did one show twice, so 6ish. Two plays, two showcases, an original cabaret/musical review, and a European concert tour (choral music)
Dude, this is like my professional resume. Eep!
But no, to answer the topic question, I'm not in a show now, just auditioning for bunches so I can get work.
Hmm....perhaps the "Whatcha Done" question should be another thread.

lol.. Yeah, we should start a 'post your resume' thread. ;D

9 plays and 19 going on 20 musicals for a grand total of 28 going on 29 shows.
I like to act, if you can't tell.

I'm in rehearsals for a review style show with my show chorus. Songs include "You Can't Stop the Beat" - Hairspray, "Skid Row" - Little Shop of Horrors, and "Footloose" - Footloose with many many more. Yay for the Upper Darby Shooting Stars! Right, Ricky? llam.

Go Shooting Stars! Only I know nothing of "You Can't Stop the Beat" anymore.
I'm currently in "The Who's Tommy" at my school, playing various bit parts, only one of which has a line, like:
Member of Flight Crew Second Barrister (the one with the line) Reporter Physician Pinball Machine Player Pimp (Well, they call them thugs in the play)...we also have sluts, I mean harlots.
...I also get to move a couch. What fun!
It's going to be fun. Such a different choice for our school that seems to choose so many safe musicals, like Joseph and Anything Goes, the past two musicals.

Ha. Well, I know the high school I graduated from wouldn't have even touched "Joseph..." Too religious! Heaven forbid. The most controversial show we did while I was there was a murder mystery called " Done to Death" where the school wouldn't let us use GUNS onstage. We had to point fingers and say "bang!" Seriously. Stupid administration...

I forgot to say this. Last night was our first rehearsal, and afterwards my friend Jessica offered me a ride. So I get in the car, and she turns it on. WHat do I hear? "Loathing! Unadulterated loathing!" I was like, oh this has to be a sign. And she was talking to me and I completely missed what she had said cause I was singing along!
Great start to what will hopefully be a great show!
