my school is doing "once upon a mattress". It is such a cute show!!!!!!! The story line and the music are great too!

I'm in Jesus Christ: Superstar right now. I'm a soloist (one of the reporters at the Trial), I get to hit Jesus during the lashes, I'm a leper, a mourner at the cross, and something else. -_-'
I don't do my school's shows (they're doing State Fair this year) because they always do shows I hate. *shrug* Break a leg to everyone in other shows out there!

Well, I am only a sophomore and didn't really get into to theater aside from middle school crap until last year. I haven't done a whole lot. I was in chorus last year at my school for A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and I was the Witch in Into the Woods, Jr. with ym voice/dance studio. I was a lead in the three shows I did in middle school (which aren't worth mentioning 'cos noone would prolly know what they were). I also student directed their play last year as a freshman.
Currently I am playing Nancy in my high school's production of Oliver! I was really surprised 'cos I was convinced that our thought seniority gets priority. I got some seniors angry at me... oh well. The performances are in about 3 and a half weeks and though I am ready, I dunno about everyone else. It should turn out ok.

I have an audition for "Joseph" on Wednesday and at the end of the month I will be auditioning for Music Man, Jr. :-) I'll be sure to post the results!

I've been Glinda the Good (but sadly, it was before my wicked-ifacation  ) and Alice from Alice in Wonderland, an Oompa Loompa (Willy Wonka ) and Wendy (Peter Pan) not too much right now, but i hope to persuade the company director to do Wicked next year! |
